Here are a few more products I received from The Body Shop. I was interested in the Vitamin C line that apparently gave natural radiance to the skin, so here are the three products I tried:
Re-Texturising Peel: £12.20

The Body Shop claims: "Gently peels away surface dead skin cells and shrinks pores to reveal smoother, softer and clearer skin. The complexion is brighter and appears more fresh, radiant and dewy."
I was keen to try this as I was hoping it would save my blackhead problem by 're-texturising' my nose. I often find that even after vigorously scrubbing my nose, after applying foundation it appears a bit 'bobbly' where the blackheads are/were. Since using this mask once a week it has stopped happening, but this could also be due to the fact I've switched to using mineral makeup instead of my usual liquid, and so my pores are no longer getting clogged up with thick, oily substances. However, it does leave my skin feeling velvety soft, (after using this mask I instruct my boyfriend to stroke my face and marvel at the smoothness of it!) so I am loving it.
Micro Refiner: £12.20

"A rich and creamy exfoliating product with tiny scrub particles that work effectively to deep cleanse and remove dead skin cells, improving skin texture and leaving it looking and feeling softer, smoother and more refined and radiant. With a zesty fragrance."
I'm beginning to think the product I received was a dud, because it wasn't creamy and it didn't have a scent. This is a great exfoliator however, and made my nose lovely and smooth. It also reminded me a lot of the St Ives scrub, but for three times the price! This is not recommended for sensitive skin.
Intensive Night Treatment: £12.20
"While you sleep, this skin warrior goes to work. Combats environmental damage, minimizes fine lines, brings back a healthy glow, and evens out redness."
This has a strong citrus scent. The first night I used it, my boyfriend told me I smelled like a satsuma. It was pleasant and refreshing at first, but after a couple of nights of using it began to make us feel a bit ill, it's rather overpowering! The consistency is very thick, like a serum, which means it can be a bit difficult to rub in. If you have any spots or scratches, this stuff stings! But I quite like that because it makes me think it's doing something. This left my skin feeling very soft, but I'm not sure if I'd repurchase due to the price and the smallish quantity.
Overall I did like all of the items I received, although nothing particularly stood out as a special product that I would insist on re-purchasing.
