♥ Carmex Cherry
As soon as Winter began, my lips began to suffer. Cold and windy weather paired with central heating meant my lips were left dry and chapped. This Carmex lip balm sorted them out in no time at all. It's cherry scent is delicious and it contains SPF 15 which is always a bonus. When applied to the lips this tingles and soothes simultaneously, a pleasant sensation. My lips are left feeling nourished and moisturised whenever I use this balm and it lasts well on the lips.
♥ Vaseline Rosy Lips
This tinted lip balm gives a soft pink glow to the lips. Containing rose and almond oil it also smells lovely. I used this religiously throughout summer, so now whenever I open it the scent takes me back to our time in Italy and our engagement. I love how smells can do that. It's a little tin of happy memories! Besides that, this gives some good protection to my lips when they're feeling on the dry side. The formulation means this isn't very long lasting on the lips and I wouldn't recommend it as a cure to chapped lips but it's a nice product to add a natural hint of colour to the lips.
♥ Bach's Rescue Balm
I love the packaging of this balm with the frosted glass pot and simple white lid. This has a really lovely soft, subtle scent derived from natural flower essences. With a similar formulation to Carmex, this balm is perfect for lips prone to dryness and chapping.
♥ Korres Lip Butter
This is highly pigmented lip balm that gives a berry-stained look to the lips (and cheeks if you wish). With a buttery smooth texture this leaves my lips feeling soft and hydrated. It's also available in all sorts of other gorgeous colours and flavours which I'm keen to try out.
What are your favourite lip balms?

I also love the Carmex Cherry one and The pink Vaseline one! Not tried the other two...will have to purchase them! My faves are also Macs tinted lip conditioner in Petting Pink! and Body Shops pomegranate or passion fruit Lip butter! I put this on when i start my make up, by the time i come to put lippie on my lips are so soft and takes the lippie better! As ever, love your posts! :)

ReplyDeleteall of these lip posts are so cute! i've never seen the pink vaseline pot before but if i did, i'd snatch it up right away.. just because it's PINK! haha :P right now i'm liking the daily conditioning treatment from Blistex. comes in a little pink pot with SPF20, cocoa butter, aloe and vitamin A&E. it's love for my lips <3

ReplyDeletei love korres lip butter as well, i have it it jasmine. the texture is so amazing
I love that the $2.00 Carmex stands up to the $10.00 Korres Lip Butter. It seems that we all like to jump to the expensive name brands when a simple drugstore product does the trick. I must check out the cherry flavor.
ReplyDeleteloveeee the cherry carmex :) and just tried the vaseline rose today, loved it! xx
