NOTD: Eyeko - Nude, Vintage & Lilac Polish

At a purse-friendly £3.50, Eyeko nail polishes are a fab way to get trendy nails on the cheap. I received 3 of their latest shades recently: Nude, Vintage and Lilac.

I much prefer the design of these bottles to their other polishes which are more rounded and stubby. The elongated bottle of these looks more ‘grown up’ and I think they will appeal to a wider audience.

Green nail polishes have never attracted me and sadly this one didn’t change my opinion. They remind me of witches’ nails (they always seemed to have green nails, didn’t they!) However, if you’re into pastel shades of green this polish applies well and only needs two coats.

I’d say this is more of a purple than a lilac and a bit too garish for me. But if you like vibrant shades, this formulation is easy to work with and dries fast.

I was looking forward to trying this shade the most. I would say it’s more a peach shade than a nude, which is perfect for me as I’ve been on the lookout for pale peachy nails for quite some time. A more toned down version of China Glaze’s Peachy Keen, this is the perfect shade for me. I applied 3 coats to make it truly opaque and glossy and fell in love with the colour. I’ll be wearing this throughout Spring and Summer.

Eyeko nail polishes are priced at £3.50 for 8.5ml and are available to buy here
