Summer Series: Foot Care

It's that time of year again girls, when parts of your body that have been happily hiding in hibernation for the past 8 months have to come out. Sandals become the preferred footwear of choice and we start to see pictures in gossip magazines of the feet of celebrities who have dared step out with anything less than a perfect pedicure.

If you don't fancy a fish pedicure (the latest fad whereby little fish nibble away the dead skin on your feet - sounds horrific but apparently leaves baby soft feet) and you're more of a DIY diva than a salon girl, here are some products to perk up and prettify your feet before you step out in your latest Kurt Geiger's...

Liz Earle's foot care range includes a foot scrub, spritzer and moisturiser to tranform your feet for summer...

Foot Scrub: £10.25

My feet were very much in need of some TLC and this scrub containing avocado oil, wheatgerm oil and natural pumice was just the thing to sort them out. It smells yummy and gently yet effectively exfoliates the skin.

Foot Repair Moisturiser: £12.25

Another much needed step on the road to soft feet, this moisturiser is luxuriously thick. Easily absorbed, my feet were left feeling in a lot better condition than they began! Containing Shea butter, avocado and wheatgerm oils as well as scents such us peppermint, rosemary and seven other essential oils, this not only moisturisers feet, it leaves them smelling sweet too. Pop on some cotton socks after applying to intensify the results.

Foot Spritzer: £7.00

In the summer my feet suffer terribly by swelling up in the heat, so this seems to be the perfect antidote. Filled with nine invigorating essential oils including rosemary, spearmint and peppermint, Liz Earle's foot spritzer refreshes and revitalizes hot, tired feet. A quick spritz of this on your feet and they'll instantly feel cooler.

Used daily this trio is sure to soften up your feet and leave them smelling lovely. I love the little tote bag the set arrived in, although I'm not sure this is available to purchase.
