Trilogy Cleansing Cream

When I was offered the chance to try out a product from the Trilogy skincare range, I was keen to discover a brand I was previously unaware of. I headed to their website to learn more about the brand...

Trilogy's Philosophy

Trilogy's philosophy for healthy skin and the inspiration for their name is the triad of simplicity, purity and vitality. Trilogy products contain a blend of pure botanical extracts, in unique formulations, designed to restore the natural vitality and radiance of your skin and hair by working in perfect harmony with them. At the heart of Trilogy is a commitment to environmental, cultural and ethical sustainability. They focus on their mantra and their mission: maximum effect on your skin, minimum effect on our environment.

Rosehip Oil
Rosehip oil is the key active ingredient in most Trilogy skin care products. An ultra-fine oil that absorbs instantly allowing the skin to breathe as it works, rosehip oil helps reduce the appearance of scars, fine lines and pigmentation whilst restoring the skins moisture balance.

Trilogy Cream Cleanser -  Winner of The Green Beauty Bible Awards

Trilogy Cleansing Cream is formulated with their signature rosehip oil, evening primrose oil and extracts of jojoba, almond, carrot and calming chamomile oil. These ingredients combine to create a lovely, soft scent. I don't like anything too overpowering when cleansing so this is the perfect gentle fragrance to use before bedtime.

The packaging is what first appealed to me. A simplistic design on a glass bottle with a pump, it's ideal for easily dipensing the cleanser without any mess or fuss. The texture of this cleanser is lovely; rich and creamy with no greasiness. The instructions advise massaging the cleasner onto damp skin and gently removing with a cloth for best results. I found only a small amount is needed to thoroughly remove makeup and even stubborn eye makeup is gently removed without any tugging at the skin.

My skin feels incredibly soft and smooth after using this cleanser as well as thoroughly nourished and moisturised. It's one of the best cleansers I've used and is up there with Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish as my go-to cleanser. It's become a firm favourite of mine and as much as I'm a fan of Liz Earle skincare and I have no reason to look elsewhere, I'm still excited to try out some other products from Trilogy's range.

Trilogy Cream Cleanser has an RRP of £22.00 and is available online.
