I've remembered why my FOTD posts are so few and far between. It's because I have to take about a million photo's to get one good one. It's a bit depressing. I think, 'Ooh, I quite like my makeup today, I'll do a FOTD.' And then I take a photo and look rubbish in it. So what should be a quick snap can turn into an hour long photo shoot with myself. Awkward.
Anyway, here's a few I was happy with. I've tried quite a few new products recently which I absolutely love and I thought it was about time I showcased them. I'm planning on doing in-depth reviews at a later stage so I can declare my love for them in more detail.

ReplyDeleteahhahahah I laughed when I read this because I will do the exact same thing!! I will think "gosh my makeup looks great" so I will go to take a photo of it and when I look at the picture I am completely horrified, I think, "Wow! do I really look that horrible??" hahahaha and then whats worse is I will wash my face and redo my makeup!!! I am so glad to know that this happens to other people as well!

ReplyDeletegorgeous photo. I've been looking for a new foundation, none of my current ones seem to match anymore. I was getting samples of EL Resilience Lift foundation when the SA accidently gave me one of the Double Wear in the lightest shade possible. I tried it on a whim. The shade may be a little too light, but I loved the finish. Perfect skin, and not matte and dull, it even had a little glow, like yours does. I had this foundation all wrong. Don't believe the cosmetics companies definitions of their foundations. They will put you in a box. This is marketed to those with oily skin and acne. I have dry skin and need luminosity, who knew this foundation could fill that need. Thanks for making me believe in myself and not company jargon. I'm going to find my shade in DW right now. How did you pick which powder to use in the True Match line, it looks great!
