Tweezerman for Benefit

Tweezers are one of life's little essentials that I never gave much thought to. Thinking that a tweezer is a tweezer and price doesn't effect their functioning, I've bought many a cheap pair in the past but then found them to be duds. I'd often heard the name Tweezerman pop up in reference to good quality tweezers but never got round to buying a pair myself. So when I'd heard Benefit and Tweezerman had teamed up, I thought it would be a good time to try them out for myself.

Described as the ultimate precision tweezer for those hard-to-reach hairs, the stainless steel tips are hand-filed and perfectly aligned for expert results. These are sharper than any other tweezers I've tried and grasp even the smallest of hairs. They make neatening up the brows even more quick and easy so it's no longer a chore. I also love the design of these, it's good to have a jazzy pair of tweezers!

Benefit Tweezerman are priced at £22.50 for the pointed slant tweezers and £19.50 for the slanted tweezers. Both are available online or at your local Benefit counter.

Have you tried Tweezerman tweezers?

Mark Hill Holiday Hair

I'll be heading off to Turkey for a fortnight soon and with temperatures reaching over 35'C at this time of year, I'll need some products to protect my hair from the sun. Mark Hill's Holiday Hair is a collection of products specially designed for this purpose. At just £3.42 per product, these are great to stock up on before you head away. I love the bright Sex on the Beach cocktail coloured packaging, very summery! Here's what I'll be taking with me...

Stay Straight Polish

For use on damp or dry hair, this is an ultra-light straightening polish that smoothes away holiday frizz, keeps hair styled for longer and adding beachy texture and definition.

Sun Protection Spray SPF6

Containing SPF 6 with UV protectors, this defends the hair and scalp from the suns harmful rays, so I'll be applying this to my hair regularly throughout the day. It also helps replenish moisture and shine to sun-stressed hair. A beach bag essential!

Beach to Bar Dry Shampoo

With UV filters to protect from damage and Vitamin E to strengthen, this dry shampoo instantly refreshes and revives your hair. Natural extracts of Boswellia Serrata help to cleanse the hair and scalp by removing impurities such as salt, sand or chlorine without leaving a white residue. This will be a great little time saver whilst on holiday.

Also available from the Mark Hill Holiday Hair collection is Stay Straight Anti-Humidity Spray, Suncare Shamppo, Aftersun Conditioner and Sun Protection Serum.

Purse Brite Handbag Organiser

Have you ever needed to find something in your handbag and spent what feels like an age rifling through the random things you have deemed essential to carry around with you? The trend for oversized bags has just made this problem worse and I always find myself having a rummage and quickly losing patience when I can't find what I'm looking for. So I was on the lookout for a handbag organiser that meant I could easily locate my items and make the process of changing handbags a whole lot easier.

I decided on Purse Brite, something I'd stumbled across on eBay. I didn't want to spend a lot on something that wouldn't be seen and this is even came with a little light so it seemed perfect at around £5.00.

Here's what it looks like...

A strip of fabric that's sturdy enough to stand up on it's own with various compartments and pockets for your items. The clip-on bit in the middle is the light. This has been amazingly useful when there's not been enough light to see what you're doing. I was most appreciative when in the cinema recently and trying to find my fiance's glasses.

So it's very handy for little bits and bobs like pens, lipbalms and paracetemol (and hayfever tablets if you're like me and need them available at all times!)

I place larger items like my keys, iPod shuffle and compact mirror in the larger pockets...

The material is bearable. I like that the colour scheme is neutral and unoffensive but the faux suede is terrible as it more resembles felt. But this doesn't bother me too much as it will be inside my bag.

When placed inside your bag, it leaves a nice big space in the middle for items such as your purse, a camera, your makeup bag etc...

Overall, I love my Purse Brite. Not only is my bag neatly organised with everything in it's own special place, it means I can actually change bags very quickly and easily. I was always too lazy to transfer everything from one bag to the other, but now it's so simple. Very happy!

Of course, the design of handbag organisers are so simple that if you had the time and patience, you could make your own if the colour and fabric of your choice. But for those of you who can't be bothered, there's Pure Brite!
