Mulberry Bayswater in Oak Natural Leather

I've been coveting a Mulberry Bayswater for years. For me, Mulberry make the most classic, elegant handbags and the Bayswater is iconic, instantly recognisable and oozing style and class. The Bayswater is one of those bags that will never go out of fashion and can be worn with any outfit, be it casual or smart. My heart leapt with joy when my husband surprised me with a beautiful Mulberry Bayswater as a wedding present. The leather is beautiful (and smells divine!) and the soft suede interior is the ultimate luxurious touch. It's an ideal size for me - big enough to be worn over the shoulder but small enough to also be held in the crook of the arm. I can fit a surprising amount of things inside which is perfect as I'm guilty of lugging around an extraordinary amount, but should I need more space, the internal belted sides can be adjusted to give more room.

The Mulberry Bayswater is available to buy online at the Mulberry website or in store at Selfridges and House of Fraser.

  5. I've never been too fussed over the whole Mulberry thing, but seeing as there is a lock on this one, im all for it! Not many bags these days have locks on them, and the fact that this has one(adding a bit of privacy), I like!!!

    Great post :)

  9. Ooohhh beautiful! :)

Mine is like 2 years old now and its starting to look really beaten up and cool and all the edges are curling and I love it! I use it every day :) My husband calls it my Mary Poppins bag because things just get lost in it! (Although I've been lugging it round London today and have chronic shoulder/back ache today so do go easy on yourself!)

  12. I have this bag - she is such a beauty! Do you find it really heavy though? I can't carry it in the crook of my arm without getting a chronic arm ache haha - and I don't even carry that much around with me! xx

    1. Yep, so heavy but I don't know whether that's because I lug around so much! x

  14. I have a raspberry Baywater and it has aged beautifully. Everyone compliments the Bayswater. I have the matching continental wallet too.

I also have an oak Roxanne + wallet which for me is the stuff of dreams!

And a mabel and mini mabel complete my Mulberry collection. More on my birthday list :)

    Enjoy your beautiful bag!

  17. We have the same lipstick (Barry M) and handbag in common! I absolutely adore my bayswater but find it incredibly heavy, do you have the same problem? I'm tempted to go for a Daria next as was interested in a hobo/slouchy bag and I think they've discontinued Mitsy :( Mulberry is in my opinion one of the most classic bags available.

    1. Great minds think alike! I do find my Bayswater heavy, so as much as I'd like to carry it in the crook of my arm it usually just ends up on my shoulder! I really love the Hayden tote, but that's been discontinued too :(
