Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Colour Balm - Oversized Orange

Fans of Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Balms will be pleased to know eight new shades have been added to the range, including this gorgeous coral shade - Oversized Orange. The ever popular Clinique Chubby Sticks are renowned for keeping lips soft and hydrated whilst delivering a sheer tint, so I think these Chubby Sticks are perfect for taking on holiday. Sun and sea can leave lips parched so the mango and shea butter packed into these balms will be a treat for sore lips! I love how easy these are to apply - no need to worry about using a mirror, they smoothly glide across the lips, leaving a delicate hint of colour with a soft, weightless texture. These are perfect for natural makeup days when you want pretty lips without too much fuss!

Clinique Chubby Sticks are priced at £16 and available to buy from Boots and Debenhams

Ted Baker Nude Pink Holher Bow iPhone Case

Ted Baker had me swooning over their accessories ever since I became the proud owner of their beautiful laptop case. The Ted Baker range is irresistibly feminine, featuring pretty pinks and girly bows. I'm delighted to have a new addition to the family - the Ted Baker Holher iPhone Case in Nude Pink. Although I own an array of iPhone covers, I was in need of a case to house my phone when I was out and about, as all too often I would retrieve it from my bag to find the screen dotted with fluff and makeup. The problem is now solved with this pretty patent case! I adore the pairing of the nude PVC with a delicate pink bow, completed with pink zigzag stitching. The case includes a ribbon to help remove the phone and the inside features the same butterfly print fabric found in the Ted Baker Laptop Case. It's certainly the cutest phone case I've come across!

The Ted Baker Holher iPhone Case is priced at £29 and is available to buy from

Jasper Conran Tortoise Shell Glasses

I'm guilty of relying on my contact lenses a little too much, and after a recent visit to the opticians, I was advised to give my eyes a break and wear my glasses more often. To soften the blow, I thought I'd invest in a fancy new pair. My horrifyingly poor eyesight means thick frames are a necessity rather than a style choice, but fortunately, chunky geek glasses are currently in fashion so I was spoilt for choice. I opted for these Jasper Conran Tortoise Shell glasses - chic, stylish and professional. I'm smitten with anything Tortoise Shell, and I love the monochrome striped cleaning cloth. For the time being I'm enjoying wearing my glamorous new glasses!

As much fun it is playing around with glasses, I am considering laser eye surgery. I can't imagine the joy I'd feel to wake up and be able to see clearly, have a shower and not squint at everything around me, and remove my makeup and not have to hold my face one inch away from the mirror! Although I have heard if you have a high prescription, or an astigmatism, your eyesight won't remain perfect and you may need to wear lenses again in the future. Bad news for me because I have both! Have any of you had laser eye surgery or know someone who has?

Father's Day Gift Ideas

Father's Day is fast approaching and it can be tricky finding just the right gift. Here's some inspiration if you're in need of ideas!

Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna Eau de Toilette - £25 and Sienna Shave Soap In A Bowl - £14

The Sienna scent is a masculine blend of leather, citrus and spice with a hint of fire and herbs. Sounds very manly! I love the stylish bowl which houses the Shave Soap. Inspired by medieval Tuscany, the sophisticated bowl gives a touch of luxury to a mundane task. The soap creates a rich creamy lather and is enriched with Vitamin E to calm and condition the skin, leaving it smooth and stubble-free.

Available to buy from and John Lewis

Yardley Citrus & Wood Gift Set - £14.95 - 50ml EDT and 200ml Hair & Body Wash

Citrus and Wood is the first men's fragrance to launch in Yardley London for over six years. Inspired by the current trend of fusing classic cologne ingredients with contemporary elements, the fragrance combines the spice of the orient with the earthy woodland to create a unique scent with top notes of bergamot and lime, a spicy heart of black pepper and birchwood, and sandalwood, cedarwood and amber at its base.

Enrapture Encode Totem Styler Review

I've tried and tested quite a number of hair tools over the past few years in a bid to achieve the perfect 'do. Some of my favourites have been the Boots Hair Tongs which give Kim Kardashian curls, and the Instyler Rotating Iron which does all the hard work for you. I thought I'd seen it all when it came to hair tongs, but then the Enrapture Encode Totem Styler was released. It's the first luxury styler to feature three independent heat zones, which allows you to create a variety of looks - soft waves, bohemian curls or ringlets - using just the one styler, depending on the code combination selected. Clever, isn't it?!

Presented in a beautiful electric blue box, the styler comes with a removable stand, a style guide and a heat resistant pouch - everything you need for a styling session. The Totem Styler uses titanium plate technology, meaning super fast heat up and snag free, shiny curls. It also has a mini flipper, which holds hair in place for easy styling.

The 25mm barrel features a dial, which controls the temperature of the three independent heat zones, with 1 being the coolest and 3 being the hottest. The style guide advises on a variety of combinations to achieve your desired hair do. I had fun experimenting with the different combinations but the one I use most often is 1-1-1. I have fine hair so using the coolest setting all over gives soft, loose waves that are done in an instant! If I'm going out or want the curls to last a little longer, I may switch to 1-2-1 and then brush through with my fingers to loosen them up. I've found then Enrapture Encode Totem Styler really gives curls that last, even on the lowest heat setting, so even the day after styling, my hair still has a pretty, tousled look. I'm keen to try the Enrapture Extremity Heated Rollers next, for retro, bouncy curls!

Enrapture Encode Totem Styler has an RRP of around £75 and is available to buy from Boots and Debenhams

Korres Plum Lip Butter

I'm guilty of owning quite a large lip balm collection but one of my firm favourites is Korres Lip Butter - a buttery balm which melts into the lips and leaves a glossy, tinted finish. Packed with Shea butter and rice wax, it hydrates lips and leaves them soft and smelling delicious! Korres Plum Lip Butter delivers a beautiful berry tint, perfect for a hint of colour. Korres Lip Butters are smooth and silky with no stickiness and stay around for a fair length of time. Another plus point of this Butters is that they don't contain any parabens, sulfates or synthetic dyes - ideal if you like natural, organic products. I also own the Guava Lip Butter, a milky white which is perfect for softening bright lip colours. These are such lovely lip balms I'm tempted to extend my collection and add Pomegranate - a soft coral pink, and Jasmine - a beautiful baby pink.

Korres Lip Butter is priced at £6 from

Have you tried the Korres Lip Butters before? Which is your favourite?

Elegant Touch Flawless French Manicure Kit

The Elegant Touch Flawless French Manicure Kit has answered all my glamourous nail prayers. If you're a fan of flawless nails and you're partial to a French Manicure but can't be doing with all the fuss of DIY or splashing out on regular trip to the salon, this kit is for you.

I've always a been a fan of the elegant French Manicure, but I've had many failed DIY attempts and gel or acrylics manicures are costly and a pain to remove (as well as damaging.) This kit has solved all these problems. No smudges or wobbly lines - just French Manicure perfection by adhering white tips to your natural nail! Plus, they're easily removable with acetone based nail polish remover.

The kit contains 56 french tips in 14 sizes (enough for 4 applications) and everything you need for flawless nails - white tips, glue, a base and top coat, nail buffer and instructions. The whole process took less than ten minutes and I couldn't stop admiring my super fast manicure afterwards. The cleverly designed tabs mean this kit is so simple to use, and allows for accurate placement of the tips. As the base and top coat are clear and I wanted the traditional pink and white mani, I applied a coat of Bourjois Rose Lounge after the base coat which gave the perfect finish.

I selected the 'short' length, (which I recommend if you have short nails so the tip doesn't obscure too much of your nail) and although I like the result, I think my nails are long enough to handle the medium length, which I'll be trying when I've used the tips in this kit. I've now been wearing these for 5 days and they look as perfect as when I applied them. Overall, I've been really impressed with this kit and absolutely love how my nails turned out. I'd highly recommend it if you're a fellow fan of the French Manicure.

Elegant Touch Flawless French Manicure Kit costs £12.70 from
