“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.”
- Lewis Carroll -
Matt and I recently took some time out to revel in the snow. It's not too often everything is veiled in a soft white blanket so it was lovely to enjoy it while we could. Snow is so peaceful and calming when no one else is around, it's quite magical. We walked up to the hill where everyone was engaging in a spot of sledging, we were very envious! We would have done a little ourselves except we haven't come across anywhere selling sledges yet.
I wore my trusted Hunter boots along with three pairs of socks but my feet still turned to blocks of ice. It made me wonder how some fashion bloggers manage to brave the snow for outfit photos! After a romantic stroll we headed home for some hot chocolate and wrapped up in a cosy blanket... the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Gorgeous pictures and I love the little video at the end! xx

So pretty! Love the snow :)
ReplyDeleteJust wondering- did you dye your hair again, or is this the Olia colour faded? Would really like to know, since I am thinking of dying my hair dark from a very light brown!
Merci! Love your blog!!!
Hi Megan,
DeleteSome facts about my hair which should answer your question!
- I haven't dyed my hair again since the Olia, it's just faded - dye fades really quickly on my hair!
- before I used the Olia I had dyed my hair a red/auburn colour so I think it's the remnants of that dye
- my hair does not look this colour in normal light, the snow brought it out!
Hope that helps :)
Weird comment I know but I love the lip colour you are wearing in these pictures, by any chance do you remember what it is??? XoX
