Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Facial Peel

I never used to suffer from problem skin but as I get older my skin is gradually getting more oily and my pores seem to increase in size with each passing day. Soap & Glory claim their Fab Pore Facial Peel is ideal for oily skin or for those who want to tackle their T-zone so it sounded like the perfect solution to my problems. The minty fresh mask is rich and creamy, so a little goes a long way and the small green beads exfoliate and dissolve when massaged. The title of the product is slightly misleading as the ‘peel’ actually refers to stripping off dead skin cells and resurfacing the texture of your skin rather than a peel-off face mask.

I wasn’t expecting much from this mask but I was pleasantly surprised to find it worked wonders on my skin. It did a fab job at de-clogging congested areas and shrinking my pores (albeit on a temporary basis) and my skin was left soft, glowing and most impressively – mattified. The clay in the mask soaks up excess oil and smoothes the skins surface without leaving it taut or dry. This mask has now become a firm favourite in my skincare routine.

Soap & Glory The Fab Pore Facial Peel is priced at £8.00 and is available to buy from Boots

I use this and it is great for clearing up spots… I find it dries up the oil and leaves my skin look refreshed. I try and use it at least once a week and tend to leave it on longer that I should.

    Great review!

Id steered clear of this because of its peel title but now you've cleared that up I'm quite tempted.
Hope you're well lovely? Im still waiting for the wedding post!!!

this looks the face mask of my dreams! I had seen this in my local boots but was put off by the 'peeling' part of it, but now you've explained, I may have to go and pick this up;)

Great tips! I've been using face naturals anti blemish serum for my pimples. Works great and they are chemical free.

I used to have this mask, but unfortunately it did nothing for me and my poor skin 🙁 but I still love the S&G line 🙂 x

ALONG with a skin peel, you need a good serum that will penetrate your skin to MAKE RESULTS. I've used the Lady Soma Renewal Serum morning and night along with bliss sleeping peel and I've noticed dramatic results. I have gotten so many compliments on the glow and even tone of my skin. My breakouts had completely cleared up and my skin was sooo smooth! I ran out about a month ago, and sadly, the compliments went away, and instead I've even got a few concerned comments from my mom about my new breakouts. While I still am using what's left from my sleeping peel, I know that you ALSO NEED a serum like the Lady Soma Renewal Serum to get under there and product new skin cells.
