I’m delighted to say I’ve been ‘longlisted’ for a Marie Claire Blog Award in the Best Beauty Blog category. There seems to have been a bit of a mishap as I was sent an email yesterday morning informing me I had been longlisted but my name wasn’t to be seen on the list and so I thought there had been a mistake, but by the end of the day my name had appeared on the site!
There’s always a bit of a hoo-ha surrounding magazine blog awards but casting the magazine’s motives aside, I think it’s such an honour to have been nominated by your peers and readers, it still surprises me that anyone would do so!
